Privacy of Personal Information

As part of the process of creating your own documents using the Secure Wills™ web application you will be providing Secure Wills, L.L.C., a Texas limited liability company, and the Secure Wills™ website with personal information in the form of data, i.e. your name, and decisions made during the creating of your documents. The Secure Wills™ website and application will not request or require your social security number at any time. Secure Wills, L.L.C. uses standard practices to protect the confidentiality of all personal information provided to the Company and the website. The Company will keep your personal information for sixty (60) days after your documents are delivered to you. This sixty (60) day window allows you to modify your documents as often as necessary during that time. After the sixty (60) days have expired, the Company will delete all of your information. If you purchase and extended plan allowing you to modify your documents for a year or more, your personal information will be stored for the period of time outlined in the extended plan.

There are instances when Secure Wills™ may be required or compelled by court or administrative order to release your personal information. If the Company reasonably believes it must comply with a court order or administrative order we will release your personal information according to the terms of the order. If Secure Wills, L.L.C. is sold, or its assets are sold, we may provide your personal information to the purchasing entity in order to continue any services to you that we have agreed to provide.

Security

Any and all personal information provided by you during the Secure Wills™ document creation process is stored online on secured server for a set period of time depending on the package you purchased on the website. After the expiration of the storage period your personal information will be deleted. Secure Wills, L.L.C. uses a variety of current technologies to protect your personal information and it is only available online. Your user information is stored on our servers and is encrypted. We use a third party that encrypts all credit card information so it is secure during the verification process.

Limited Exception

For an unspecified period of time we will store your e-mail address, first name and last name for use only by Secure Wills, L.L.C. This information will never be sold, transferred, displayed or in any manner distributed to any third parties for any reason unless Secure Wills, L.L.C. is compelled by court order or administrative order to release it. We honor your privacy and will never sell your personal information to any distribution lists. Secure Wills, L.L.C. retains the information so we may send you legal information updates, promotions and other information related to your purchase from the website. You are always welcome to opt out of any e-mail distribution from Secure Wills, L.L.C. at any time.

Changes in Privacy Policy

From time to time we may modify the Secure Wills, L.L.C. privacy policy. If a change is made it will be posted on the Secure Wills™ website so users may review the new policy. If you do not agree with the privacy policy modification we will attempt to resolve the issue or remove all of your personal information per your request. At all times we want you to understand and feel secure about the Company privacy policy.
